Introducing Mutant Emcee Radio

Since this birth of MutantEmcee.com it has always been a goal to launch our very own radio broadcast and that time has finally arrived. The goal was to have our very own radio channel dedicated to Real Hip Hop. Dedicated to the underground and the independent. Dedicated to those that refuse to sell out. For some of us music is life and to some hip hop is church. Today we are proud to announce this past Friday, April 20th 2012, MutantEmcee.com officially launched Mutant Emcee Radio. Not just another online radio experiment, but the birth of a very sacred temple of Hip Hop. Not just music and art, but real life and real people. Mutant Emcee is not the mainstream.

Mutant Emcee Radio went online in true underground fashion. Just a few tweets, several emails and a small revolutionary buzz was all we needed to get over 100 music submission over the weekend. The Mutant Emcee sound can now found streaming all over the web. Raw beats, Real Lyrics and the anti mainstream march can be heard from devices like itunes, shoutcast, and even windows media player. Broadcasting around the clock Mutant Emcee Radio will be devoted solely to the true elements of Hip Hop. Breaking, Graffiti, The DJ and the Emcee is all we care about.

Mutant Emcee Radio will only feature our species and promote from within. With a elderly patience we will review the music, art, and lyrics. In time, we will feature Mutants from all over the globe in an attempt to do our part in preserving our species. We don't mind club rap and party pop but we get offended when you call it Hip Hop. That is a different league and you wont find any of it over here. There is a difference and if you don't know the difference Mutant Emcee Radio will teach you.

Mutant Emcee Radio had just 1 classic podcast episode during the summer of 2011, the show took the time needed to build, formulate and release a 24 hour stream. We plan to launch a 24 hour stream for Mutant Emcee radio on in April 2012. The show will consist of only Real Hip Hop from underground and Indie Artist. stream of Indie music. Supporting Artist, Dj's and Producers from all regions of the globe, Mutant Emcee Radio is devoted to the 99% of the music industry and supporting those that really need and appreciate it. If you would like to be featured in rotation when our station launches then read the text below and submit your song if you agree to the terms.

This is not a commercial radio station. This is an Independent radio station devoted to indie and unsigned musicians. It is a privilege to be feature on this broadcast and you will not be paid to be featured on this show. If you or your music is registered with music PRO's like Ascap or BMI then you must understanding that submitting your music to Mutant Emcee Radio is simultaneously waiving your rights to any compensation for our broadcast.

For those that don't know, Companies like Ascap and BMI are devoted to collecting royalties for musicians. These royalties are paid to each musician according to how often there song is played and to how big of an audience the broadcast may reach. Ascap and BMI are both really cool agencies that do alot for music makers, but if you are interested in collecting royalties from MutantEmcee.com then this is not the place for you. This show is for the needy. It is for the Starving Artists that need an open door to step their foot in. It is for those that make music from home for fun and this show is also for the career artist trying to make a living as an independent. This show is not about money. It is about exposure friendship, fun and supporting the underground while creating an opportunity for those that need it.

Audio Submissions

All submissions must be mp3 format with a bit rate of 128kb/s or higher. Your email should include pictures, websites and a bio or press release. Its that simple. we feature good music and we try to be the first to break records so send them our way. If your feature is selected not only will we spin it but we will also promote you on twitter and other social networks as well.
